Specialist School Status

Special School Status
We were designated a Maths and Computing College in 2003. This has brought many benefits to the school including our new ICT suite – The ACE Centre. We are involved in many Maths and Computing based initiatives within school and we are also developing our work within the community. We take an active role in regional and national initiatives and are keen to share good practice with others. We are developing links overseas and have 2 partner schools in South Africa. Specialist School status has been an important development in our schools progress and is continuing to provide us with opportunities and challenges for students, staff and the whole school community.
