Catch up premium spending strategies

The literacy and numeracy catch-up premium provides schools with additional funding to support year 7 students who did not achieve a score of at least 100 in reading and/or maths at the end of Key Stage 2. The funding is given to raise the attainment in literacy and numeracy of these students and to narrow the gaps that exist between them and their peers so that they can best access the curriculum across all subjects. In the 2017-18 financial year, Stocksbridge High School received £280.86 for each student eligible for the catch-up funding.
