Salary: £9.55 per hour
Contract: Casual, part time (casual hours when required)
Expected Start date: Monday 4 November 2019
Minerva Learning Trust is a recently formed and expanding Sheffield based multi-academy Trust with a vision of providing outstanding education for all the pupils within our academies. The Trust is passionate that all pupils should see their time at school as happy and fulfilling, with their potential developed to the utmost.
Stocksbridge High School joined the Trust in December 2017 and is developing this partnership and making rapid improvements for our pupils and community. We are seeking to recruit new Exam Invigilators to work with the existing team in the running of all examinations at the school.
The role of an Exam invigilator is about making sure that exams run smoothly so that students have everything they need to succeed. In addition, it’s about preventing any kind of malpractice – which includes cheating or exam procedures not being followed in other ways.
The post would be ideally suited to applicants who feel a sense of responsibility for young people and who are available to work flexible daytime hours. Full training will be provided and working hours will be negotiated for each exam period.
The role may include scribing or reading for students with special educational needs or disabilities. Training will be provided.
Closing Date is Monday 30 September 2019, 5pm. Shortlisting will take place shortly afterwards and interviews will take place on Friday 4 October 2019 and Monday 7 October 2019.
The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
