Transition to Stocksbridge High School

Parents/carers of students currently in Y6 will receive an allocation for their child to join Stocksbridge High School as a Year 7 student in September.

We would like to extend our welcome to both parents/carers and to new students.

We will be gathering lots of information from the children’s current school with regards to ability, approach to learning, behaviour and any medical needs.  If there is anything in particular parents/carers would like to raise in addition to this, please make sure that you contact Mrs Drayson (Assistant Head) or speak to your child’s Head of House at welcome evening as detailed below.

There are various opportunities that have been organised in the summer term to ensure that students are fully prepared to start at Stocksbridge High School in September.  Please can we ask that parents/carers and students make every effort to attend, as these events have been structured to give support to both you as parents/carers and Y6 students.
